My Philosophy
I have a passion for photographing babies and children which I hope is evident in the work you see here. I think portraits are treasures - moments in our lives captured and made timeless, to be cherished for future generations - reflections of us and our world. Of all things, time is among the most precious and fleeting. I cannot think of anything I'd rather do than get to know you and help preserve some of your beautiful, priceless memories.
Being committed to my clients is very important to me, so you will find that Lesley Freeman Photography is not a hustle and bustle operation, but is small, friendly and relaxed. I like to take my time with you when we are together. I want your experience to be fun and relaxing - not stressful or rushed. I know that especially with babies and children patience is key. I build in lots of extra time for them to play, have a snack or just be silly.
It is my goal to create portraits which you will treasure and which truly capture the essence of your child, both in form and spirit.
About the Artist
Lesley Freeman, a professional photographic artist, began to take a serious interest in photography with the birth of her first child. While searching for, and never quite finding the perfect professional photographer for her baby, she began to tirelessly document all the little moments of her young daughter’s life. A wonderful son soon joined the daughter and Lesley’s interest continued - her skill and knowledge blossoming as her children grew. Creating portraits of her children, in addition to documenting their lives photographically, soon transitioned into photographing the children of friends and then their friends as well.
Lesley has an easy-going, natural style that immediately puts both adults and children at ease. Personal attention and service are both hallmarks of her commitment to providing high quality portraiture that every family can afford.
